A cheesesteak competition at the All-Star Village? WHY NOT!

If baseball is America’s pastime, then debating cheesesteaks might just be Philadelphia’s.

On Sunday, July 12, at 1 p.m., Major League Baseball is embracing that delicious chaos with the inaugural Cheesesteak Challenge at the All-Star Village Main Stage in Philadelphia.

Hosted by Top Chef’s Kristen Kish, the competition promises to be equal parts cooking show, sporting event, and Philly food showdown. Think Chopped meets the MLB All-Star Game. Oh boy!

Five top food creators will bring recipes they’ve already teased online before stepping into the spotlight at the All-Star Village to create their ultimate cheesesteak in front of a LIVE crowd. Their creations will be judged by a panel of Philadelphia legends and other celebrity judges.

Among the celebrity judges who were invited is Chef Reactions, who boasts over 2 million followers on Instagram for judging cooking videos online. That’s going to be priceless!
