Founded by childhood friends Tony Pham and Rich Reyes, this neighborhood noodle bar now open in Fishtown, serves Asian comfort food rooted in family recipes and immigrant heritage. From authentic Vietnamese pho to Japanese ramen, plus creative cocktails and Asian-inspired bites, Mecha brings together the flavors that shaped its founders’ upbringings.
The menu blends Vietnamese pho, Japanese ramen, and Asian street food favorites rooted in family recipes and immigrant heritage. Alongside signature ramen bowls, steamed bao, and creative cocktails, Mecha will feature exclusive Philly-only dishes like Crispy Softshell Crab Bao with yuzu mayo, Korean chili and pickles, Curry Laksa with spicy coconut broth, basil oil, mushrooms, chicken and greens and Cha Ca La Vong made with catfish, dill, peanut and pineapple nuoc mam, in addition to classic favorites like Red Oil Dumplings and Firecracker Wings with Sichuan peppercorn.
